Our prediction for this Serie B match:
After failing to win the previous seven league games, Frosinone will look to return to winning ways in the Serie B when they take on Cesena on Matchday 15. The Canarini are still eyeing their first home win of the process and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field. Davide Biraschi limped off with injury in a 1-0 loss to Cremonese, with Davide Bettella likely to step up, while all Frank Tsadjout, Emanuele Pecorino, and Giorgio Cittadini are major doubts.
The Bianconeri, on the other hand, have been in a fine form of late, winning three of their last five league games. Given Frosinone’s poor home record in the 2024/2025 Serie B campaign, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visitors. In their last encounter in the Italian second tier Cesena defeated Frosinone 1-0. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.
Highlighted Team (Frosinone):
Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
