Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
There will be fireworks when Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid square off against each other in a small Madrid derby. Los Vallecanos desperately needed a win against Valencia and they managed to get one thanks to Pathe Ciss’ goal, but they do not want to stop now. Bearing any fresh injury worries, head coach Inigo Perez is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated los Che at the weekend.
Los Blancos, on the other hand, head into the match following a 3-2 Champions League win over Atalanta. Real Madrid suffered a 2-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao in their last league match, but seeing that both Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior have overcome their respective injuries, away win should be considered. Kylian Mbappe should recover in time to face Rayo Vallecano, while veteran midfielder Luka Modric is pushing for a recall to the starting XI.
