Arena Garibaldi will host Thursday’s Serie B derby between Pisa and Sassuolo. The hosts aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Modena and a win over Sassuolo could see them climb to the automatic promotion places. Both Beruatto and Cansestrelli are pushing for recalls to the starting XI, while duo Leris – Mlakar remains in the recovery room. Portugal defender Tomas Esteves is a major doubt.
The Neroverdi, on the other hand, are determined to return to the Serie A, where they obviously belong. Sassuolo are leading the chase for automatic promotion, but beating Pisa on the road is easier said than done. As both sides are likely to adopt a cautious approach in the Boxing Day clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.
