Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Club Brugge and Beerschot VA face each other at Jan Breydel Stadion in a David-vs-Goliath clash. Club Brugge are eager to overtake Genk in top position and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the relegation strugglers. A man to watch in the home team will be Ferran Jutgla, who scored a brace in a 3-0 win over their bitter rivals Anderlecht at the weekend. Head coach Nicky Hayen is unlikely to make changes to the team that won the Jupiler League derby.
The Violets, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom of the table with only 13 points on their account. Beerschot VA did well to hold Antwerp to a 1-1 draw at the weekend, but given their poor away record in the 2024/2025 season, anything but a routine home victory would be a big surprise. It has to be noted that Dirk Kuyt’s men have collected only one point in total on the road this term.
