Burkina Faso and Tunisia square off against each other at Stade Omnisport Roumde Adjia in what is expected to be a close AFCON game. Burkina Faso booked their place in the quarter-finals following a successful shoot-out against Gabon, but they face a difficult task in Saturday’s clash. Aston Villa ace Bertrand Traore, who found the net in the triumph over Gabon, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The Eagles of Carthage, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over ten-man Nigeria. Tunisia proved their worth in the last 16, and they should continue to rely on their rock-solid defence. Considering that Burkina Faso look solid at the back as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals. Farouk Ben Mustapha is back from suspension for the nominal visitors.

Bertrand Traore is a pacey left-footed winger who plays for Ajax on loan from Chelsea. The Burkina Faso footballers scored 17 goals in 48 league appearances for Vitesse before joining Ajax on 12 August, 2016. Traore made his Ajax debut in a 2-2 draw with Roda, coming as a substitute in the second half of the game.
He made his Champions League debut for the Amsterdammers against Rostov on August, 2016. Bertrand, though, is still a Chelsea player and his contract with the Stamford Bridge outfit expires on 30 June, 2019. Traore a winger, but he is capable of playing as a centre forward as well.
The Burkina Faso footballer was born on 6 September, 1995 and he made his debut for the Burkina Faso national team on 3 September, 2011 in a friendly game against Equatorial Guinea. The same year he won the Africa under 17 championship with Burkina Faso as the Stallions defeated Rwanda in the final of the tournament.

In 2004 Tunisia won their first and only African Cup of Nations trophy as they defeated Morocco in the title game. Jaziri and Santos scored for the Eagles of Carthage in the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations final, with Mokhtari scoring a consolation goal for Morocco. Tunisia played in the final of the tournament in 1965 and 1996 as well, but they eventually finished as runners-up.
Speaking of their appearances at the FIFA World Cup finals, the Tunisia National football team participated at the major tournament on four occasions (1978, 1998, 2002, 2006), but they failed to make it to the knockout stages of the tournament.
