Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Stade du Pays de Charleroi will host Monday’s football game between Charleroi and Leuven, the two teams who defeated Eupen and Standard Liege respectively in their last league fixtures. The Black and Whites continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team recording three wins from the previous four home fixtures in the national championship.
A man to watch in the home team will be Jamaica international Shamar Nicholson, who scored a hat-trick in the crushing of Eupen, while all Steeven Willems, Ken Nkuba Tshiend, and Jules Van Cleemput are likely to miss the game with injuries. Leuven, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Standard Liege. Marc Brys’ troops have been struggling on the travels this season, and seeing that they have recorded only one away win this term, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Defender Louis Patris should be the only absentee in the away side.
