Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Gent will be looking to build on a hard-fought 2-1 win over Kortrijk when they take on Charleroi in the Jupiler League round 21. Gent have a chance to climb to top four in the standings, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Black and Whites. Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, who limped off with injury, is unlikely to recover in time to face Charleroi, with Sven Kums being widely expected to replace him in the starting XI.
The visitors, on the other hand, did well to kick off 2023 with back-to-back wins over Eupen and Cercle Brugge, and we predict that they are going to hold Gent to a draw in the midweek clash. All Bessile, Benbouali, Knezevic, and Van Cleemput are sidelined with injuries for the visiting side. You should know that both teams managed to find the net in each of their last three meetings in the Belgian top flight.
