Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
HDI-Arena will host Sunday’s 2. Bundesliga game between Hannover and Sandhausen, the two teams who sit in the bottom half of the table. Hannover aim to build on back-to-back wins over St. Pauli and Holstein Kiel, and they are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach. Both Valmir Sulejmani and Tom Trybull have been tested positive for coronavirus, while Mike Frantz is out of contention through injury.
Sandhausen, on the other hand, are on a three-game losing run in the German second tier. Since the visitors are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Hannover, we predict that they will return home empty-handed. All Rick Wulle, Patrick Drewes, and Julius Biada are injured for the Black and Whites, while Gianluca Gaudino is quarantined following a positive test for coronavirus. In their last meeting at the venue Hannover rolled over Sandhausen 4-0.
