Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Sunday’s football game at Ostseestadion pits together Hansa Rostock and Fortuna Dusseldorf, the two mid-table sides. Hansa did well to eliminate Regensburg in the DFB Pokal last 32, but they experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to St. Pauli at the weekend. Jens Hartel’s troops are desperate to get back on course in the 2. Bundesliga, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Fortuna.
Both Lukas Scherff and Maurice Litka are out of contention through injuries, but they should be the only absentees in the home team. Die Fortunen, on the other hand, aim to build on a 3-1 win over Karlsruher. Following a 3-0 loss to Hannover in the German Cup, Fortuna will be fully focused on the 2. Bundesliga in the remainder of the season, and they are surely capable of matching Hansa at Ostseestadion. A close encounter is on the cards in Rostock, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. All Dawid Kownacki, Emmanuel Iyoha, and Thomas Pledl are injured for the visitors.
