Bayern Munich aim to build on back-to-back wins over Union Berlin and Stuttgart when they face Augsburg in the Bavarian derby on Saturday. The reigning champions are leading the chase for the Bundesliga title, but Borussia Dortmund are breathing down their neck. Since key attacker Sadio Mane has overcome his injury, home win should definitely be considered. Leroy Sane is pushing for a start, while all Noussair Mazraoui, Manuel Neuer, and Lucas Hernandez remain in the recovery room.
The visitors, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Since Augsburg are not regarded as good travellers, we do not believe that they are capable of claiming a major scalp in round 24.
