Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Saturday’s football game at Vonovia Ruhrstadion pits together Bochum and Mainz, the two teams who aim to make a flying start to the new Bundesliga campaign. Bochum were having their ups and downs in pre-season, but they did well to outplay Viktoria Berlin in their DFB Pokal opener. Summer signing Philipp Forster is likely to make his official debut for the club against Mainz, while all Jannes-Kilian Horn, Danilo Soares, and Jacek Goralski remain in the recovery room.
Die Nullfunfer, on the other hand, impressed in a 3-0 win over Aue, but beating Bochum on the road is easier said than done. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards at Vonovia Ruhrstadion, and we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. Midfielder Jae-Sung Lee has yet to recover from a knee injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away team.
