Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Greuther Furth will be aiming to move away from the rock bottom when they take on Mainz at Sportspark Ronhof Thomas Sommer on Matchday 20. The rock-bottom side produced a fine display in a 2-2 draw with Arminia Bielefeld, but, as things stand now, they will find it hard to secure the Bundesliga survival. Defender Justin Hoogma remains quarantined, while all Marius Funk, Robin Kehr, Gideon Jung, and Jessic Ngankam should miss out with injuries.
Die Nullfunfer, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Bochum. Mainz are determined to represent Germany in European competitions next season, and this seems like a good opportunity for the away side to move closer to the Europa League berth. The likes of Niklas Tauer, Marcus Ingvartsen, Adam Szalai, and Dominik Kohr are likely to miss the game with injuries.
