Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Olympiastadion will host Saturday’s football game between Hertha Berlin and Arminia Bielefeld, the two bottom-table sides. Hertha are eyeing their first league win since October 23, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Arminia. Montenegro international Stevan Jovetic, who scored a brace in a 2-2 draw with Stuttgart, will be the man to watch in the home team, whilst all Jarstein, Dardai, and Klunter continue to miss out with injuries.
Both Lucas Tousart and Suat Serdar are major doubts. Die Arminien, on the other hand, played out a 1-1 draw with Koln in their last league match. The visitors are eager to put an end to their three-match winless run, and seeing that they will go for a win in Saturday’s game as well, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Midfielder Sebastian Vadiliadis has been tested positive for COVID-19, while defender Lennart Czyborra is sidelined with injury.
Highlighted Player (Alexander Schwolow):
One of the key cogs in Freiburg’s push for Bundesliga survival in 2017/18, Alexander Schwolow remains remembered for his impressive displays against some of league’s biggest sides which proved decisive in his team’s relegation battle.
A product of Freiburg academy, Alexander Schwolow was forced to work for his place under the spotlight and it wasn’t until his loan spell in the Third Division with Armenia Bielefeld in 2014 that Schwolow earned his place between the sticks at his parent club. His stock went through a rapid rise in 2016/17 campaign when Alexander Schwolow played a great part in his team’s seventh-place finish and a place in the UEFA Europa league qualification.
Schwolow’s impressive goalkeeping exploits got his name written in the notebook of some of Europe’s biggest clubs and it is fair to say we could see his move abroad in foreseeable future. Alexander Schwolow represented Germany in U18, U19 and U20 categories but has yet to earn a senior cap.
Highlighted Team (Arminia Bielefeld):
Arminia Bielefeld is a German club founded on May 3, 1905. Die Arminen play home games at Bielefelder Alm. The venue was built in 1926, and it can hold up to 26,515 spectators. Arminia Bielefeld have yet to win the Bundesliga trophy, but they did well to lift the West German Cup title on two occasions (1966, 1974).
Back in 1922 they won the Western German football championship, with the team repeating the success the following year. Arminia Bielefeld wear dark blue shirts when playing at home ground, while white is the dominant colour of their away jersey. In the 2019/20 season Arminia returned to the Bundesliga, where they undisputedly belong.
Bruno Labbadia is considered one of the most famous footballers who played for the club. The ex Bayern Munchen attacker scored 50 goals in 98 appearances in the league for Arminia Bielefeld. Labbadia has two caps for the German national team, and six for the West Germany U21.
