Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Leipzig will be looking to stay in the Champions League berth when they host Werder Bremen to their Red Bull Arena on Matchday 32. Both Josko Gvardiol and Peter Gulacsi are out of contention through injuries, while Slovenia international Kevin Kampl is pushing for a start after scoring the winner against Freiburg at the weekend. Marco Rose should stick to the 4-4-2 formation, with Christopher Nkunku and Timo Werner likely to keep their spots up front.
Die Werderaner, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from back-to-back defeats to Schalke and Bayern Munich. Ole Werner’s troops, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Leipzig’s party at Red Bull Arena. In the first half of the season Leipzig defeated Werder Bremen 2-1 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Amos Pieper is a major doubt, while all Dikeni Salifou, Felix Agu, and Niclas Fullkrug remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Timo Werner):
Timo Werner is a German starlet, who began his senior career at Vfb Stuttgart. The German forward, who was born in Stuttgart on March 6, 1996, scored 13 goals in 95 appearances in the league for Die Schwaben and in 2016 he moved to fellow Bundesliga side Leipzig and he impressed with the Red Bulls in the 2016/2017 Bundesliga campaign, scoring 21 goals in the process.
To make things even better for the talented attacker, he represented Germany at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and it has to be noted that he provided an assist for Lars Stindl in the title game. Despite the fact that coach Joachim Low rested star players at the tournament in Russia, the Germans eventually won the trophy.
Timo Werner played for the Germany U17 team as well and he won the silver medal with die Mannschaft at the 2012 UEFA European Championship. His main position is centre forward, but he is used as a winger as well. Timo Werner’s contract with Leipzig should expire on June 30, 2020.
