Our prediction for this Championship match:
High-flying Bournemouth will be aiming to extend their winning run to seven games when they take on Brentford in the Championship round 44. The Cherries have been in a splendid form of late, and, as a result, they are sitting in third position in the standings ahead of the visit of Brentford. Even though Lloyd Kelly has joined Shane Long and Lewis Cook in the recovery room, home win should be considered as Bournemouth look unstoppable at the moment.
The Bees, on the other hand, are on the right track to book their place in the playoffs as well. The capital club, though, failed to impress in a 1-1 draw with Cardiff City, and that is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Cherries. The likes of Baptiste, Dalsgaard, Dasilva, and Henry are all likely to miss Saturday’s clash with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Patrick Schmidt):
Patrick Schmidt is an Austria international who plays for Championship club Barnsley as a forward. Born in Eisenstadt, Austria on July 22, 1998 Schmidt began his senior career at Admira Wacker. After making 46 appearances for Admira Wacker II, the 179-cm tall striker started playing for the first-team in the 2016/2017 Austrian Bundesliga season.
Three years later Patrick Schmidt decided to take a step forward in his football career as he signed a four-year deal with Barnsley. The full-of-pace forward scored eight goals in the 2018/2019 season for Admira and he is widely expected to shine with the Tykes in the 2019/2020 Championship campaign. It has to be noted that Schmidt played for Austria U16, U17, U18 and U19 teams.
The Barnsley attacker currently represents Austria U21 team in international matches. His main position is centre-forward, but he is used as both left and right winger as well.
Highlighted Team (Rotherham):
Rotherham United are an English club that compete in the Championship. Rotherham United are located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire and they play their home games at New York Stadium and the capacity of the venue is 12,021.
The club was founded in 1925 as a merger between Rotherham County and Rotherham Town. The colour of Rotherham’s home kit was originally yellow and black, but nowadays they were red and white jerseys. The Millers made it to the FA Cup fifth round on two occasions (1952/1953, 1967/1968) and they have yet to play in the Premier League.
Rotherham United have won the Football League One twice (1950/1951, 1980/1981), but the club’s biggest success is participation in the 1960/1961 League Cup final. Sheffield United are regarded as Rotherham United’s fiercest rivals, but the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Doncaster could be considered Rotherham’s big rivals as well.
