Birmingham City and Millwall go head to head at St. Andrew’s Stadium in the opening match of the Championship round 5. The Blues are on a three-game winning run in the league, but they head into Saturday’s clash following a 3-1 loss to Cardiff City in the EFL Cup round 2. Both Marcel Oakley and Tyler Roberts remain in the recovery room, while experienced forward Lukas Jutkiewicz is banned for the match.
The Lions, on the other hand, regained a much-needed confidence thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Stoke City, but they face a tough challenge against Birmingham City, who are a real force to be reckoned with at home. In their last meeting in the Championship the Blues defeated the Lions, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered. Midfielder George Honeyman continues to miss out with a muscle injury for the away team.

Shaun Hutchinson is a professional footballer who plays for Milwall as a centre-back. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne (England) on November 23, 1990, he began his youth career at Wallsend Boys Club. In 2007 he moved to Motherwell and he made his first-team debut for the Scottish club on May 16, 2009 against Hamilton Academical.
After making 121 appearances in the league for Motherwell, Shaun Hutchinson returned to England in 2014, signing a deal with Championship club Fulham. Hutchinson played no more than 30 games for the Cottagers before joining fellow capital club Millwall on June 21, 2016.
He made his debut for the Lions against Peterborough United on August 16, 2016 and he has been playing for the club ever since. Shaun Hutchinson’s main position is centre-back, but he is capable of playing as a defensive midfielder as well. The Millwall defender has a contract with the club which expires on June 30, 2018 and it has to be noted that his preferred foot is left.
