Our prediction for this Championship match:
Blackburn Rovers and Millwall take on each other at Ewood Park in what is expected to be a close Championship encounter. The Riversiders continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team beating QPR in front of home fans, while losing at Fulham at the weekend. Blackburn are determined to stay in the playoffs berth, but they will have a big fish to fry against the in-form Lions.
The capital club are on a five-game winning run in the English second tier, and they are surely capable of holding the Riversiders to a draw at Ewood Park. Blackburn key attacker Ben Brereton Diaz remains in the recovery room, while all Bennett, Ojo, Leonard, Kieftenbeld, Hutchinson, Burke, and Bradshaw are injured for the away side. In the first half of the season the two teams played out a 1-1 draw.
Highlighted Player (Bradley Dack):
Born in Greenwich, England on December 31, 1993, Bradley Dack is a midfielder who plays for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. Bradley Dack began his youth career at Charlton Athletic back in 2005 and five years later he moved to Corinthian. However, the English footballer started his senior career at Gillingham, making his league debut against Bradford City on August 18, 2012. 20 days later he scored his first senior goal as he found the net in Football League trophy clash against Crawley Town.
Before joining Blackburn Rovers on June 27, 2017 Bradley Dack played four games on loan for Braintree Town, scoring one goal in those league games. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is used as both right and left midfielder as well. Dack once described himself as “free role behind two strikers”.
The Blackburn Rovers midfielder often finds the net and it has to be noted that he scored 16 goals in 36 appearances for the Riversiders in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
Highlighted Team (Millwall):
Based in Bermonsdey, South East London, Millwall are a football club whose supporters have often been associated with hooliganism. West Ham United are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two teams.
The Lions share rivalry with Charlton as well and the two teams first met back in 1921. The Den is Milwall’s home ground at the capacity of the stadium, which was opened in 1993, is 20.146.
The capital club did well to make it to the 2003/2004 FA Cup final, but Premier League giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Lions. The Red Devils won the game 3-0, but despite suffering the heavy loss in the title game, Milwall booked their place in the UEFA Cup. However, Ferencvaros of Hungary proved to be a big catch for the English outfit in the two-legged tie.
Australia international Tim Cahill is considered one of the most notable footballers who whore Millwall shirt (1998-2004).
