Our prediction for this Championship match:
Hull City will look to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Bristol City when they take on Sunderland in the Premier League round 24. The Tigers are eager to stay in the playoffs berth and you should bear in mind that they recorded four wins in the previous five home games in the English second tier. All Ruben Vinagre, Jaden Philogene, and Dogukan Sinik are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Black Cats, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Bristol City and Coventry City. As Sunderland have been struggling at the back of late, we are tempted to bet on the hosts this time out. Aji Alese is a major doubt, while all Dennis Cirkin, Timothee Pembele, Jay Matete, and Corry Evans should miss out with injuries, when it comes to the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Bradley Dack):
Born in Greenwich, England on December 31, 1993, Bradley Dack is a midfielder who plays for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. Bradley Dack began his youth career at Charlton Athletic back in 2005 and five years later he moved to Corinthian. However, the English footballer started his senior career at Gillingham, making his league debut against Bradford City on August 18, 2012. 20 days later he scored his first senior goal as he found the net in Football League trophy clash against Crawley Town.
Before joining Blackburn Rovers on June 27, 2017 Bradley Dack played four games on loan for Braintree Town, scoring one goal in those league games. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is used as both right and left midfielder as well. Dack once described himself as “free role behind two strikers”.
The Blackburn Rovers midfielder often finds the net and it has to be noted that he scored 16 goals in 36 appearances for the Riversiders in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
Highlighted Team (Hull City):
Hull City are a professional football club that was founded back in 1904. The Tigers used to play their home games at Boothferry Park, but they moved to the KC Stadium in 2002. The stadium capacity is 24,450.
Hull impressed in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and, as a result, they returned to the English Premier League. Hull City fans consider Leeds United their main rivals, but Sheffield United are regarded as Hull’s fierce rivals as well. Steve Bruce took over the reins at the club in 2012 and the experienced tactician helped the team book a place in the 2013/2014 FA Cup final, but Arsenal proved to be a big catch for the Tigers in the title decider.
Hull City finished the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign in 16th place in the standings to achieve their highest ever top flight finish. It has to be noted that Curtis Davies was named the team’s player of the year in the 2013/2014 season.
