Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers take on each other at Riverside Stadium in a highly-anticipated Championship game. The Boro suffered yet another disappointing defeat at the weekend, with the team losing to Millwall on the road, but it is well known that they are tough to beat at home. Both Giles and Hackney are pushing for a start, while there are no fresh selection worries in the home team.
The Riversiders, on the other hand, aim to regain their spot in top six, but given their poor away record (2-0-5), we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting side. Since Blackburn had no more than three goal attempts in a midweek loss at Wigan, we predict that the Boro are going to pick up all three points from Saturday’s clash. Sam Gallagher should be recalled to the starting XI, while Sam Barnes continues to miss out with a knee injury.

The QPR footballer made his Australia debut on March 6, 2014 in a 4-3 defeat to Ecuador. In 2015 he won the AFC Asian Cup with the Socceroos.

Blackburn were founded back in 1875 and they are one of the founding members of the Football League (1888).
