Our prediction for this Championship match:
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Norwich City, Middlesbrough will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Luton Town at Riverside Stadium. The Boro have been in a fine form of late, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as favourites to win Saturday’s clash. Midfielder Riley McGree is back from international duty, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Hatters, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Rotherham United. Rob Edwards’ men were beaten by Stoke City in their last away game, and given Middlesbrough’s fine form, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Both Tom Lockyer and Ethand Horwath are back from international duties with Wales and USA respectively, while all Dan Potts, Sonny Bradley, Henri Lansbury, Reece Burke, and James Shea should miss out with injuries.
