Preston will be aiming to build on a 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic when they face Coventry City in a postponed Championship game. The Lilywhites did well to put an end to their four-game winless run at the weekend, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but, as things stand now, they will find it hard to book their spot in the playoffs. Ireland international Robbie Brady misses the game through suspension, while both Andrew Hughes and Emil Riis Jakobsen are sidelined with injuries. Greg Cunningham is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the last league match.
Meanwhile, the Sky Blues are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win. Since Coventry City are eager to move closer to the playoffs berth as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. As for the away team, Kasey Palmer suffered an injury in a 2-1 win over Sunderland, with Josh Wilson-Esbrand likely to step up.

Irish footballer, who was born on January 31, 1991 in Galway, though, made no more than two appearances for Manchester City in the Premier League. After ending his loan spells with Leicester City and Nottingham Forest the defender moved to Bristol City in 2012 and he played for the Robins from 2012 to 2015.
Creg Cunningham did well to win the Football League Trophy with Bristol City in the 2014/2015 season, but at the end of the season he moved to Preston North End. The Irish footballer has established himself as a first-team regular at Preston and it has to be noted that he was appointed captain of the team on July 24, 2017.
