Our prediction for this Championship match:
QPR and Burnley square off against each other at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon. The Hoops aim to put an end to their three-game losing run, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against the Clarets. Tyler Roberts remains on the sidelines with a calf problem, but he should be the only absentee in the home team. Meanwhile, the visiting side are determined to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The league leaders proved their worth in a thrilling 3-0 win over Blackburn, and we predict that they will take advantage of the current situation in Queens Park’s dressing room as well. Anass Zaroury is on international duty with Morocco, while Connor Roberts is back to contention following Wales’ elimination in the World Cup group stages. All Jay Rodriguez, Darko Churlinov, Scott Twine, and Ashley Westwood should miss out with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Archer):
Jordan Archer is an English goalkeeper who plays for Millwall in the Championship. Archer started his career in the youth team of Charlton Athletic and he moved to Tottenham Hotspur football academy in 2009. However, he did not see a first-team football at White Hart Lane as he was inmeditely sent on loan to Harrow Bourough (2011).
After ending his loan spells with the likes of Bishop’s Storford, Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton he signed a loan deal with Millwall in 2015 and he was soon offered a permanent contract with the capital club. Jordan Archer made 39 appearances for the Lions in the 2016/2017 League One campaign and it has to be noted that he managed to keep 11 clean sheets n the process.
Millwall secured promotion to the Championship at the end of the season as they defeated Bradford City in the final of the League One play-offs. Jordan Archer was born in Walthamstow, England on April 12, 1993.
Highlighted Team (Burnley):
Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
Burnley play their home games at Turf Moor and the capacity of the stadium is 21,401. The Clarets have won two Community Shield trophies so far, in 1960 and 1973, but they have yet to clinch the Premier League title. Claret is the dominant colour of the team’s home shirts.
