Our prediction for this Championship match:
Tuesday’s football game at Loftus Road pits together QPR and Huddersfield Town, the two teams with completely different ambitions in the remainder of the season. QPR are eyeing promotion to the Premier League, and they will not have a better chance than this to put an end to their three-match winless run. The Hoops have been struggling in front of goal of late, but they are surely capable of putting an end to the goalless drought against the Terriers.
Both Tyler Roberts and Jake Clarke-Salter miss out with injuries, while Andre Dozzell is pushing for a start. The visitors, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only 15 points on their account. Given their displays in back-to-back losses to Sunderland and Blackburn, we predict that the capital club will pick up all three points from the midweek clash. All Jones, Hogg, Simpson, Pearson, Turton, and Nakayama remain in Huddersfield’s recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Archer):
Jordan Archer is an English goalkeeper who plays for Millwall in the Championship. Archer started his career in the youth team of Charlton Athletic and he moved to Tottenham Hotspur football academy in 2009. However, he did not see a first-team football at White Hart Lane as he was inmeditely sent on loan to Harrow Bourough (2011).
After ending his loan spells with the likes of Bishop’s Storford, Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton he signed a loan deal with Millwall in 2015 and he was soon offered a permanent contract with the capital club. Jordan Archer made 39 appearances for the Lions in the 2016/2017 League One campaign and it has to be noted that he managed to keep 11 clean sheets n the process.
Millwall secured promotion to the Championship at the end of the season as they defeated Bradford City in the final of the League One play-offs. Jordan Archer was born in Walthamstow, England on April 12, 1993.
Highlighted Team (Huddersfield):
Back in 1926 Huddersfield Town became the first English club to win three straight domestic trophies. Since 1908 the Terriers were playing at Leeds Road, but in 1994 John Smith’s Stadium became home of Huddersfield Town. The club play in the English second tier (Championship) and the colour of the their home kit is blue and white (stripes).
Huddersfield Town were founded in 1910 and just three years later they entered the Football League. In 1926 the Terriers won their last domestic trophy, but they did well finishing runners up in the FA Cup 1920. The club’s biggest rivals are Leeds United and it has to be noted that Huddersfield Town have better head-to-head record of the two teams.
Bradford City are considered Huddersfield’s local rivals as well, but there are small rivalries with Barnsley, Halifax Town, Manchester City and Oldham Athletic. The club’s chairman is Dean Hoyle.
