Our prediction for this Championship match:
QPR and Norwich City face each other at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Saturday’s program. Despite recording back-to-back wins over Middlesbrough and Swansea, the Hoops missed out on a place in the Championship playoffs, but they surely want to finish the season in great manner. The good news for the hosts is that Seny Dieng returns to the starting XI after serving his one-match ban in the midweek clash.
The Canaries, on the other hand, aim to put icing on the cake on a very successful season. Norwich City are eager to finish the process in top position in the standings, and seeing that they are likely to go for a win in Saturday’s clash as well, we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals. A man to watch in the away team will be top scorer Teemu Pukki, who is enjoying yet another successful season.
Highlighted Player (Liam Kelly):
Born in Newport Pagnell, England Liam Kelly is a right-footed midfielder who plays for Coventry City in the League One. Kelly is a product of Milton Keynes Dons football school, but he did not play for the club at senior level. The English footballer started his senior career at Scottish club Kilmarnock, but after making 100 appearances in the league for the Killie, he moved to England, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal with Bristol City.
The English footballer played for the likes of Oldaham Athletic and Leyton Orient as well before joining Coventry City in the summer of 2017. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and right midfielder as well.
His preferred foot is right. He made his league debut with Coventry City on August 5, 2017 in a 3-0 win over Notts County, while scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win over Stevenage in April, 2018.
Highlighted Team (Norwich):
After spending only one season in the Premier League, Norwich City dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 campaign. Norwich City are located in Norwich, Norfolk and they welcome their rivals at Carrow Road.
The stadium was built and opened in 1935 and the capacity of the venues is 27,137 (all-seater). However the stadium’s record attendance is 43,984. The Canaries have won two League Cup trophies (1973, 1975) and their main rivals are Ipswich Town. The two teams have been facing each other in the East Anglian Derby since 1902.
The colour of Norwich City’s home kit is yellow and green and that is the main reason why they are known as the Canaries. The likes of Kevin Keeland, Ian Culverhouse, Steve Bruce, Duncan Forbes, Mark Bowen, Darren Huckerby, Ian Crook, Martin Peters, Darren Eadier, Chris Sutton and Iwan Roberts are notable footballers who played for the Carrow Road outfit in the past.
