Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Club Brugge will try to claim a major scalp in the Champions League knockout stages when they take on Atalanta in an eagerly-awaited double-header. Club Brugge are tough to beat at home, with the team beating both Aston Villa and Sporting CP, while sharing the spoils with Juventus in the last three games at Jan Breydel Stadion. As manager Nicky Hayen has a full squad to choose from except for talented forward Chemsdine Talbi, we predict that the hosts are going to grab something from Wednesday’s clash.
The Orobici, on the other hand, are brimming with confidence following a routine 5-0 win over Verona, but beating Club Brugge on the road is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards at “Jan Breydel” and we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. The likes of Lookman, Scalvini, Scamacca, Kossounou, Kolasinac, Maldini, and Carnesecchi miss out with injuries for the Serie A outfit.
