Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Rams Park will host Wednesday’s Champions League game between Galatasaray and Copenhagen, who meet for the first time since November 2013 in the elite competition. Okan Buruk’s men are on a six-game winning run in all competitions, meaning that they are brimming with confidence ahead of their Champions League opener, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. A man to watch in the home team will be former Inter forward Mauro Icardi, who has been scoring goals for fun of late, while head coach Okan Buruk has no fresh injury worries.
Jacob Neestrup’s troops, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Nordsjaelland in the Superliga derby at the weekend and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the Champions League clash as well. Galatasaray, though, are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we predict that the Turks are going to pick up all three points from the match. All Babacar, Boilesen, and Khocholava are out of contention with injuries for the away team.

The Team of the City as Copenhagen is called in Denmark has won the Danish football championship eleven times, while it has also won the Danish Cup on seven occasions. The club forms great rivalry with Copenhagen’s suburban club Brondby IF with games between the two club attracting some of the biggest crowds in Danish football history in this so called New Firm derby.
