Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Salzburg play host to Dinamo Zagreb at their Red Bull Arena in an eagerly-awaited Champions League game. Salzburg aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Sparta Prague (0-3) and Brest (0-4) and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Dinamo on Wednesday evening. Bear in mind, though, that all Fernando, Guindo, Kawamura, Kjaergaard, and Terzic are out of contention with injuries for the home side, while Serbia attacker Petar Ratkov remains doubtful.
The Croatian champions, on the other hand, dropped a two-goal advantage in a 2-2 draw with Monaco and given their poor defensive display in a 9-2 loss to Bayern Munich, Salzburg will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways in the elite competition. Defender Dino Peric should be the only absentee in the away team, but head coach Nenad Bjelica will be watching the game from the stands following his sending-off against Monaco.
