Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Spartak Moscow and Benfica face each other in a highly-anticipated Champions League qualifier at Otkrytiye Arena. The Russian outfit kicked off the new domestic campaign with a 1-0 loss to Rubin Kazan, but it has to be noted that they were scoring goals for fun in pre-season. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Netherlands international Quincy Promes, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
The Eagles, on the other hand, failed to win the domestic trophy last term, but they eventually booked their place in the Champions League qualifiers. Since the club management managed to keep hold of key attackers in the summer transfer window, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Spartak defenders should have Switzerland international Haris Seferovic at bay.
