Our prediction for this Coupe de France match:
Buoyed by a hard-fought Ligue 1 win over St. Etienne, Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to book their place in the Coupe de France semis when they take on Angers at Parc des Princes. Les Parisiens are seen as favourites to win Wednesday’s clash, and seeing that Neymar returns from suspension, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the star-studded capital club. The likes of Navas, Marquinhos, Letellier, Diallo, and Bernat are all likely to miss the game with injuries.
Les Scoistes, on the other hand, head into the match following back-to-back defeats to Angers and Rennes, and given their shaky defence, we believe that punters can find value in betting on Mauro Pochettino’s troops. When the two teams in the Ligue 1 earlier in 2021 PSG defeated Angers 1-0 thanks to Layvin Kurzawa’s goal. The likes of Alioui, Boufal, Cabot, Coulibaly, Ebosse, El Melali, Fulgini, Manceau, and Pereira are out of contention for the visitors.
