Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
A place in the EFL Cup round 2 will be at stake when Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City go head to head at Lotus Road on Wednesday evening. The Hoops quickly bounced back from a massive 4-0 loss to Watford, with the team beating Cardiff City on the road and they must be high on confidence ahead of the visit of Norwich. Both Adomah and Dixon-Bonner are vying for spots in the starting XI, while all Dunne, Colback, and Clarke-Salter have been struggling with injuries of late.
The Canaries, on the other hand, played out a thrilling 4-4 draw with Southampton at the weekend and given their attacking potential, we believe that both teams to score betting option should be considered. The likes of Idah, Springett, and Fassnacht should be recalled to Norwich’s starting XI, whilst the likes of Sorensen, Tomkinson, Sainz, and Hanley remain in the recovery room. Pacey winger Milot Rashica is a major doubt.
Highlighted Player (Milot Rashica):
Milot Rashica is a Kosovo Albanian player who was born on June 28, 1996 in Vucitrn, FR Yugoslavia. Rashica is a product of FC Vushtrria football academy and he continued playing for the Ferki Aliu Stadium outfit at senior level.
Milot Rashica is a winger, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well and it has to be noted that his preferred foot is right. Nowadays, the Albanian footballer plays for Vitesse in Dutch Eredivisie and he has established himself as a first-team regular at the club.
Milot Rashica made his Vitesse debut on July 30, 2015, coming as a substitute for Serbia international Uros Djurdjevic in a 3-0 defeat to Southampton in the Europa League qualifiers. Speaking of his Eredivisie debut, Rashica played his first match for Vitesse in the Dutch elite division on August 9, 2015 in a 1-1 draw with Willem II. The Vitesse footballer has six caps for Albania U21 team, but he represents Kosovo at senior level.
Highlighted Team (QPR):
Queens Park Rangers are well known as QPR. The capital club was founded in 1886 and Loftus Road Stadium is QPR’s ground. Loftus Road Stadium was opened in 1904 and the capacity of the venue 18,439. However, it has to be noted that no less than 35,353 spectators watched the game between QPR and Leeds on 27 April, 1974.
The Hoops finished the 1975/1976 First Division campaign in second position in the standings, just behind champions Liverpool. This is considered the club’s biggest success, but Queens Park Rangers made it to the FA Cup final in 1982 as well.
QPR were beaten by fellow capital club Tottenham Hotspur in the title game, but they did well to lift the League Cup trophy in 1967. Queens Park’s main rivals are Brentford, Chelsea and Fulham, but other clubs based in London are considered QPR’s rivals as well. The colour of QPR’s shirts is blue and white.
