All eyes will be on Select Car Leasing Stadium when Reading and Ipswich go head to head in a highly-anticipated EFL Cup game. The Royals continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, but they did well to crush Millwall 4-0 on the road in their EFL Cup opener. Reading are eyeing their third consecutive win at home ground, but they will have a big fish to fry against the Tractor Boys, who have been producing fine performances in the new Championship campaign.
Both Elliot and Yiadom should be recalled to Reading’s starting XI. The visitors, on the other hand, suffered a 4-3 loss to Leeds United at the weekend, but given their 100% record on the road in the 2023/2024 season, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the Championship outfit. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team.

Born in Brno on November 14, 1990, Vaclav Hladky is a Czech footballer who plays for Scottish Premier League club St Mirren as a goalkeeper. Hladky spent his youth career at the likes of FC Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, and FC Zbrojovka Brno, and he continued playing for the Zbrojovka Brno reserve team at the senior level.
The 192-cm-tall shot-stopper played for the likes of MSK Breclav (loan) Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, FC Zbrojovka Brno (senior team), and Slovan Liberec before signing a contract with St Mirren. The Czech goalkeeper made his Scottish Premiership debut on January 23, 2019, in a 4-0 loss at Celtic.
Hladky played for the Czech Republic youth teams as well, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Czech Republic senior team. Vaclav Hladky wears the No. 1 shirt at St Mirren, and his preferred foot is right.

Reading FC is a professional football club that play in the Championship. The club was formed in 1871 and Madejski Stadium has been the home of Reading since 1998. The Royals used to play their home games at Elm Park in the past (1896 - 1998). Reading made it to the FA Cup semi-finals on two occasions (1927, 2015), but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy.
The likes of Robin Friday, Trevor Senior, Steve Death, Shaka Hislop, Phil Parkinson, Alf Messer, Jimmy Quinn, Michael Gilkes, Ronnie Blackman, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Martin Hicks are some of their more notable footballers. Aldershot Town were considered Reading’s fiercest rivals, but the Shots went out of business in 1992.
