Bilino Polje in Zenica will be packed when Bosnia & Herzegovina and Ukraine lock horns in the EURO playoffs semis. The Dragons failed to impress in the EURO 2024 qualifiers, but they set up a meeting with Ukraine thanks to their good results in the Nations League. Renato Gojkovic serves a one-game ban following his sending-off in a 2-1 loss to Slovakia, while Basel man Adiran Leon Barisic has been ruled out with injury. Fenerbahce striker Edin Dzeko is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The Ukrainians, on the other hand, were producing fine performances in their EURO qualifying group against Italy and England, which is the main reason why bookies see them as favourites to win Thursday’s clash. Ukraine are more of a team than Bosnia and with the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Artem Dovbyk in the starting XI, we predict that Sergiy Rebrov’s men are going to defeated Bosnia in the semis.
