A place in the Conference League playoffs will be at stake when Arda and Kauno Zalgiris face each other at Arena Arda on Thursday evening. Antonio Vutov’s goal helped Arda defeat Kauno 1-0 in the first leg and, as a result, the 29-year-old midfielder should be recalled to the starting XI. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team ahead of the second leg.
The Lithuanians, on the other hand, face an uphill task in the reverse fixture as Arda are tough to beat at home. Considering that midfielder Damjan Pavlovic misses the second leg through suspension, we are tempted to bet on the Bulgarian side this time out. Fellow Serbian forward Dejan Georgijevic is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in a 2-0 Lithuanian Cup loss to Suduva at the weekend.
