Eintracht Frankfurt welcome Aberdeen to Deutsche Bank Park in the opening match of their Conference League campaign. Die Adler have yet to find their best form in the new Bundesliga campaign, but they are still seen as hot favourites to beat the Dons on home soil. All Loune, Jakic, and Alario remain in the recovery room, while both Max and Aaronson are pushing for recalls to the starting XI.
The Scottish outfit, meanwhile, failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Hearts in their last league match and seeing that Eintracht Frankfurt are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from Thursday’s clash. As for the visiting team, both Shayden Morris and Rhys Williams are out of contention through injuries, while talented midfielder Connor Barron could sneak into the starting XI.

Mario Gotze is a German midfielder, who played for Ronsberg and Eintrach Hombruch during his youth career before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2001. He made a great progress during his spell at the Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy and on 21 November, 2009 he made his Bundesliga debut for the Millionaires.
Gotze scored 22 goals in 83 league appearances for the club between 2009 and 2013 and he joined Borussia Dortmund’s bitterest rivals Bayern Munich on April, 2013. The German midfielder, who is capable of playing as a striker as well, failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign, but it has to be noted that he was struggling with injury at the start of the season.
Gotze won three Bundesliga trophies with Bayern Munich, but at the end of the 2015/2016 season he returned to Borussia Dortmund. In 2014 he represented Germany at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and he scored the winner in the final against Argentina. Mario Gotze was born in Memmingen on 3 June, 1992.

Nicknamed the Dons, Aberdeen are professional football club that compete in the Scottish Premiership. Pittodrie Stadium is the club’s home ground, and it can hold up to 20,866 spectators. The Dons were one of the dominant forces in Scottish football during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era, with the team winning three Scottish League titles from 1980 to 1985.
However, Aberdeen clinched their first domestic trophy in the 1954/55 season, with the team finishing the process three points clear of Scottish giants Celtic.
