Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Estadio Cidade de Barcelos will host Thursday’s Conference League qualifier between Gil Vicente and Riga, the two teams who are vying for a spot in the playoffs. Gil Vicente did well to turn their dominance into equalizing goal in the first leg, and, as a result, they are seen as hot favourites to advance to the next qualifying round.
Murillo remains on the sidelines with injury, while both Barros and Kritsyuk should recover in time to face Riga. The Latvians, on the other hand, are not regarded as good travellers, which is the main reason why home win should be considered. Gabriel Ramos is likely to lead the line for the visiting team despite failing to find the net in the first leg, but he is unlikely to help Riga spoil Gil Vicente’s party at Estadio Cidade de Barcelos.
Highlighted Player (Pedrinho):
Born in Cristelo, Portugal, Pedrinho is a professional footballer who plays for Pacos Ferreira as a midfielder. Pedrinho spent his youth career at FC Cristelo, and in 2003 he moved to Freamunde.
The Portuguese player continued playing for Freamunde at the senior level, and after scoring 18 goals in 120 appearances in the league for Os Capoes, he moved to Pacos Ferreira in 2016. Pedrinho played for Vila Mes on loan in 2013 as well, scoring five goals in 16 appearances in the league for the club.
His primary position is attacking midfield, but he is capable of producing excellent performances at both central and right midfield. His preferred foot is right, and he wears the number 12 jersey.
