Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
High-flying Plzen will look to record their fifth consecutive win in all competitions when they take on Gzira in the second leg of the Conference League third qualifying round. Plzen have been scoring goals for fun of late and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. Even though all Cihak, Havel, Pernica, Sykora, and Vydra are sidelined with injuries, away win should be considered as the Czechs looked sharp in front of goal in a 5-2 crushing of Budejovice at the weekend.
Gzira, on the other hand, aim to overcome a four-goal deficit in front of home fans, but given their difficulties at the back, we do not believe that they are capable of claiming a major scalp in round 3. Talented midfielder Andy Borg should sneak into the starting XI after coming as a substitute in the first leg.
