Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
There will be fireworks when KuPS and Derry City take on each other at Vare Areena in the Conference League second qualifying round, reverse fixture. KuPS failed to impress in a 2-1 loss at Brandywell Stadium, but their performance in a 2-0 win over KTP certainly gave them a confidence boost. A man to keep an eye on in the Finnish outfit will be Arttu Heinonen, who scored a brace at the weekend.
The Candystripes, on the other hand, are on a three-game winning run in all competitions, but beating KuPS on the road is easier said than done. Derry City are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the home side. As for the away team, talented forward Cian Kavanagh is pushing for a start, while all Sam Todd, Ciaron Harkin, and Colm Whelan should miss out through injuries.
