Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Expect a thrilling atmosphere at Windsor Park when Linfield and Shelbourne square off against each other in the second leg of the Conference League playoffs. Following a 3-1 loss in Republic of Ireland, the Blues need a big win in the return leg if they are to book their spot in the group stages. Experienced forward Matthew Fitzpatrick is banned for the match, but there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Reds, on the other hand, are with one foot in the group stages, but boss Joey O’Brien must warn his men against complacency. Anyhow, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals as Shelbourne are expected to adopt a defence-minded approach this time out. Speaking of the away team, midfielder Evan Caffrey is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in the first leg. Goalkeeper Conor Kearns, though, continues to miss out with injury.
