PAOK
MCH Arena will host Thursday’s Conference League game between Midtjylland and PAOK. The Danes missed out on a place in the Europa League knockout stages as they dropped two points in a goalless draw with Ludogorets, but they are surely capable of matching PAOK in front of home fans. January signing Vagner Love is likely to make his Midtjylland debut against the Black and White Eagles.
The Greeks, on the other hand, did well to beat Atromitos thanks to Crespo’s goal in their last league match. PAOK, though, are not regarded as good travelers, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on draw. Serbia winger Andrija Zivkovic should be recalled to the starting line-up, while former Arsenal attacker Chuba Akpom should continue to lead the line for the visiting team.

Son to an Ukraininian-born artist Sergei Sviatchenko, the 24-year-old defender Erik joined Celtic in January 2016. His transition to the Scottish giants have been alleviated by Celtic’s signing of his girlfriend Rudmose, who signed for The Bhoys women’s team in February this year.
Erik Sviatchenko began his professional career at FC Midtjylland in 2009, where he had been a starter in almost all of his appearances for the club. Key player for Midtjylland, Sviatchenko helped them to Danish title in 2014-15 as we as in securing progression to the last 32 stage of the UEFA Europa League the following season. After seven years at the Danish side, Sviatchenko moved to Celtic on a four-year deal.
He has so far made 14 league appearances for Celtic, but still got the chance to wear the captain’s armband in May. Due to dual citizenship Erik Sviatchenko was eligible to play for Ukraine, but he agreed to a call-upfor the Danish national team in 2015. He has so far earned only five caps for his country.

PAOK are regarded as one of the most famous clubs in Greece. The club’s biggest rivals are Olympiakos, but they have a great rivalry with local rivals Aris as well. The Double-headed eagle play their home games at Toumba Stadion Thessaloniki and the capacity of the venue is 28 803.
PAOK are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they often struggle when playing on the travels. The club won their first Greek Superleague title in 1976 and nine years later their clinched their second domestic trophy, finishing the season three points clear of Panathinaikos.
Speaking of the club’s European success, the Black and Whites made it to the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in the 1973/1974 season, but they were outplayed by Italian giants Milan in the two-legged tie. PAOK were founded on 20 April, 1926 and they play their home games in black and white shirts and black shorts. The club’s away colours are white.
