Osijek play host to Zalaegerszegi at their Opus Arena in the first leg of the Europa Conference League second qualifying round. Over the years Osijek have established themselves as one of the best teams in Croatian HNL and, no doubt, they have big ambitions for the 2023/2024 Conference League campaign. Since Stjepan Tomas’ men impressed in a 6-1 crushing of Slaven in their HNL opener, home win should definitely be considered.

The Hungarians, on the other hand, were producing fine performances in preseason, but they will have a mountain to climb in Thursday’s clash against Osijek, who have turned their Opus Arena into a real fortress.
