Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Olympic Stadium of Athens will be the centre of attention when Panathinaikos and Fiorentina go head to head in the Europa League last 16, first leg. PAO did well to overcome a one-goal deficit in the tie with Vikingur Reykjavik, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Viola. The likes of Bakasetas, Jedvaj, Palmer-Brown, Pellistri, and Vagiannidis remain in the recovery room, but there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Raffaele Palladino’s men, on the other hand, have regained a much-needed confidence thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Lecce. Amir Richardson is back from the Serie A ban, but key attacker Moise Kean is a major doubt. Anyhow, under 2.5 goals betting option should be considered as Fiorentina are likely to adopt a cautious approach in the first leg. It has to be noted that the two teams meet for the first time in this competition.
