Rosenborg
Rennes will be aiming to impress on their Conference League debut when they take on Rosenborg at their Roazhon Park. Les Rouges et Noirs shared the spoils with both Lens and Brest in the first two games of the season, but they are still seen as hot favourites to win Thursday’s clash. Sehrou Guirassy is pushing for a start, while all Gelin, Martin, and Truffert are likely to miss the game with injuries.
Rosenborg, on the other hand, proved their worth in the double-header with Slovenian side Domzale. The Troillongan have been producing fine displays in all competitions, but seeing that Rennes are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are not tempted to put our money on the underdogs. All Henriksen, Skjelbred, and Wiedesheim-Paul have been struggling through injuries of late for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Dalbert Henrique):
Dalbert Henrique is a left-footed full back who plays for Ligue 1 side Nice. Born in Barra Mansa, Brazil, Henrique began his career in a local club Barra Mansa and in 2012 he moved to Fluminense. One year later the 182-cm-tall footballer joined Flamengo, but he did not play for “Mengao” at senior level.
Dalbert Henrique made his professional debut for Academio de Viseu and in 2015 he moved to Vitoria Guimaraes of Portugal. After making 25 appearances for the Primeira Liga club, the left-back joined Ligue 1 side Nice in 2016. Henrique made his debut for les Aiglons on August 14, 2016 in a league match against Stade de Rennais. Dalbert, who was born on September 8, 1993, has yet to earn a call-up for the Brazil national football team.
The Brazilian player has a contract with Nice which expires on June 30, 2021. His main position is left-back (full-back), but he is capable of playing as a left midfielder as well.

Rosenberg are undisputedly the most famous Norwegian club. The Troillongan have participated in the Champions League group stages on several occasions and they are the dominant force in the Norwegian Premier League. Rosenborg won their 24th (record) domestic title in 2016, with the team finishing the season 15 points clear of second-placed Brann.
The Norwegian side are well known for their black and white kits and Lerkendal Stadion is the club’s home ground. The capacity of the venue is 21.405 and the stadium was opened back in 1947. John Carew is the most notable footballer who played for Rosenborg in the past and it has to be noted that the powerful centre-forward scored 18 goals in 18 appearances in the league for the Troillongan.
Nowadays Nicklas Bendtner wears Rosenborg shirt, but he did not help the Norwegian champions make it to the Champions League group stages. Rosenborg eliminated Dundalk in the second qualifying round, but Scottish side Celtic proved to be a big catch for Kare Hedley Ingebrigtsen’s troops in round 3.
