Santa Clara will look to put an end to their three-game winless run in all competitions when they face Shamrock Rovers in the first leg of the Conference League playoffs. The Primeira Liga outfit, though, will not have a better chance than this to get back on course and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in the first leg. Defender Pedro Jose Pacheco should be the only absentee in the home team.
The Hoops, on the other hand, rolled over FC Ballkani 4-0 at home to seal their spot in the Conference League playoffs. Shamrock, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Santa Clara’s party at Estadio de Sao Miguel. Bearing any fresh injury worries, Shamrock boss Stephen Bradley is unlikely to make changes to the team that outplayed FC Ballkani in the previous qualifying match.
