Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Stadionul Sepsi will host Thursday’s Conference League qualifier between Sepsi and Aktobe, the two teams who meet for the first time in European competitions. Sepsi booked their place in the third qualifying round by crushing CSKA Sofia 6-0 on aggregate and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to beat Aktobe in front of home fans. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but both Pavol Safranko and Marius Stefanescu are pushing for a start after the duo came off the bench in a 1-1 draw with Otelul at the weekend.
The Kazakhs, on the other hand, showcased their worth in a 4-2 win over Kairat Almaty, but given their difficulties at the back, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in the first leg. It has to be noted that Aktobe defender Adilkhan Tanzharikov is one yellow card away from suspension.
