Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Following back-to-back defeats to Djurgarden, Gent will look to keep their Conference League hopes alive when they face Shamrock in Dublin in the Group F round 5. Gent did well to beat Seraing 2-1 in their last league match, and they now face a must-win situation in the Conference League. Experienced forward Laurent Depoitre, who scored the winner at the weekend, is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while all De Sart, Castro-Montes, Owusu, Lemajic, and Tissoudali have been struggling with injuries of late.
The Hoops do not seem to be competitive at this level, with the team conceding eight goals, while scoring zero in the process, and it is no surprise the bookies see them as underdogs in Thursday’s clash. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Graham Burke, who scored a brace in a 4-1 win over St. Patricks at the weekend, while Stephen Bradley has no fresh injury worries. Anyhow, away win should be considered as Shamrock have been struggling in front of goal in the new Conference League campaign.

The Cameroonian footballer, who was born in Bafang on November 23, 1990, won the national championship with Slavia Prague in the 2016/2017, but the capital club eventually failed to make it to the Champions League group stages.
