Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Vikingur will try to recover from a shocking Champions League defeat to Lincoln Red Imps when they take on Linfield in their Conference League opener. Vikingur defeated 07 Vestvur Sorvagur in their last league match and, no doubt, the triumph gave them a confidence boost. Midfielder Stefan Radosavljevic is widely expected to return to the starting XI after the 24-year-old was rested at the weekend.
The Northern Ireland outfit, on the other hand, booked their place in the third qualifying round thanks to a 2-0 win over Zalgiris at Windsor Park. The Blues, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Vikingur’s party at Torsvollur. It has to be noted that the two clubs have never met before in European competitions. Linfield boss David Healy has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Faroe Islands.
