Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Virtus will try to claim a major scalp in the Conference League tie with Breidablik when the two teams take on each other at San Marino Stadium on Thursday. Virtus defended well in the first leg, but Breidablik eventually came from behind to win the match 2-1. As a result, the Sammarinese need to adopt an attack-oriented approach in the reverse fixture.
That will surely leave empty space in Virtus’ back-line and given the number of pacey forwards in the away team, we predict that the visitors will seal the victory on the break. Veteran defender Michele Rinaldi remains in the recovery room, but there are no fresh injury concerns in the home team. Speaking of the away side, Kristinn Steindorsson is pushing for a start after coming off the bench in the first leg. Anyhow, anything but a routine away win would be a big surprise.
