Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Real Betis and Nottingham Forest square off against each other at Estadio Benito Villamarin in what is seen as the Europa League round 1 derby. Los Beticos aim to build on a 3-1 over Real Sociedad, but they will have a big fish to fry against the Premier League outfit. Experienced midfielder Isco remains on the sidelines with a long-term leg injury, alongside Ricardo Rodriguez and Aitor Ruibal.
The Reds, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season. Newcastle United summer signing Anthony Elanga has been sorely missed and with new boss Ange Postecoglou struggling to put all pieces of the puzzle together, we are tempted to place our bets on Real Betis. Defender Murillo should recover in time to face the La Liga side, while both Ola Aina and Nicolas Dominguez remain in the recovery room. As always, top scorer Chris Wood will lead the line for the visiting team.
