Our prediction for this Europa League match:
All eyes will be on Parc Olympique Lyonnais when Lyon and Porto face each other in the Europa League last 16, second leg. Les Gones won the first leg thanks to Lucas Paqueta’s goal, and, as a result, they are with one foot in the quarter-finals. Peter Bosz, though, must warn his men against complacency as his men experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-2 loss to Rennes. The likes of Boateng, Diomande, Denayer, and Cherki have been struggling with injuries of late, speaking of the home team.
The Dragons, on the other hand, will have a big fish to fry in the return leg as they need to overcome the one-goal deficit away from home. Since Porto are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Thursday’s clash, we predict that Lyon will have a number of chances to seal the victory on the break. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Jerome Boateng):

After spending the 2010/2011 season at Manchester City, Jerome Boateng moved to Bayern Munich on 14 July, 2011. The 192-cm-tall defender joined the Bundesliga giants for a fee of €13.5 million and he has been playing for the Bavarians ever since. Despite the fact that his father is Ghanaian, Boateng decided to represent Germany on the international stage.
He has 15 caps for Germany U21 and represented Germany national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The Bayern Munich defender produced a thrilling performance in the title game, preventing Argentine star Leo Messi from scoring. Boateng won the World Cup trophy with German and it has to be noted that he clinched his fourth Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich in the 2015/2016 season.
In 2013 he helped the mighty Bavarians win the Champions League trophy. Unlike Jerome, his older brother Kevin-Prince Boateng plays for the Ghanaian national team. The Bayern Munich defender has a contract with the Allianz Arena outfit which expires on 30 June, 2012.
Highlighted Team (Porto):

Futebol Clube do Porto are one of Portugal’s biggest football clubs playing their matches in front of 50,000 people at their Estadio do Dragao. Porto form biggest rivalries with two other Big Three clubs in Portugal and regular league title contenders – Benfica and Sporting CP. Rivalries between the clubs stem from the historical, political, economical and cultural discrepancies between the cities of Porto and Lisbon. The Dragons, as they are commonly known in Portugal, are the second most successful Portuguese team with a total of 74 trophies to their name.
Porto hold a record of five consecutive league titles which are part of the total tally of 27 Primeira Liga trophies. FC Porto’s success extends to the international scene as well with seven European titles. Two-time European champions from 1987 and 2004, Porto also won two UEFA Cup/Europa League titles, the UEFA Super Cup and the International Cup on two occasions. Together with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United, Porto have the most appearances in the UEFA Champions League group stage – the total of 20.
