Our prediction for this Europa League match:
PSV play host to Real Sociedad at their Philips Stadion in the opening match of their Europa League campaign. The Boeren kicked off the new Eredivisie campaign in style, with the team leading the chase for the domestic trophy after four rounds. PSV aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, and they are surely capable of matching La Real in front of home fans. The likes of Delanghe, Felipe, Ledezma, Kreekels, Propper, Sambo, and Seelt have been struggling with injuries of late, but Roger Schmidt can count on key players for Thursday’s showdown.
The Basques, on the other hand, head into the match following a 2-0 win over Cadiz. Real Sociedad have been showing signs of improvement of late, but seeing that PSV are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are not tempted to put our money on the La Liga outfit. All Fernandez, Guridi, Illarramendi, Monreal, and Rico are likely to miss the game with injuries.
